Commonly Asked Questions:
Q: Will
you provide all of your own equipment?
A: Yes! We feel it is very important not to
burden clients with nagging details on their Wedding Day, as
we always provide our own chairs for our musicians and our
own tables for our DJs.
Q: Do you attend rehearsals?
A: No. Because we are so heavily booked, we
would have to charge normal Wedding rates to attend a
rehearsal, which is unrealistic. We will discuss every
detail well in advance to make sure that every bride and
groom is comfortable prior to their ceremony.
Q: What will you be wearing?
A: We will dress according to how formal or
casual your wedding is. Our musicians usually wear black,
and attire ranges from tuxedos to dressy casual outfits.
Q: Will you learn or find a new song that is
not included on your standard song list?
A: We are always open to adding new songs to
our repertoire, as long as the requests are reasonable and
we have at least one month to prepare.
Q: What is your photography style??
A: Candid yet emotional… More than just
pictures, but works of art!

Q: Can you provide black & white photos?
A: Yes. Our typical Photography Packages
include an assortment of both color and black-and-white
images.
Q: Do you use film or shoot digital?
A: We use both, and we transfer all original
film negatives to digital format, as each bride receives a
complimentary photo CD containing all images.
Q: Do you charge a travel fee?
A: No.
Q: Do we need to meet prior to the wedding?
A: Usually, it is not necessary. We are
accustomed to working with our brides from a distance. Over
the years, we have learned how to plan all of the major and
minor details well ahead of time. From sunset times to
music selections, our personalized method will help in
making decisions as stress-free as possible.
Q: Will you still perform in less than
perfect weather conditions?
A: Yes! Unlike many musicians, our players
are equipped to deal with extreme temperatures, gale-force
winds and biting bugs. The only exception is heavy rain.
Q: Are you amplified for outdoor ceremonies
and do you need a power source?
A: Our musicians are amplified and provide
their own power source. Our DJs require one outlet.
Q: What time will you arrive? What is the
setup time for the musicians?
A:
The setup time is minimal. It may take less than five
minutes. The musicians should be in an area with adequate
space and light, out of the way of guests/wedding party/wait
staff. They should be in a position to see the as much of
the processional route as possible in the case of a
ceremony. There is no need to worry about setup time in
considering contracted time length. We will arrive in time
to begin playing or shooting at whatever time we are hired
to start.
Q:
Our family member or friend is
a singer and we would like you to accompany him/her during
the ceremony. Is this possible?
A:
It is possible. It is important that we make sure we have
music that works for the selected ensemble that has the same
arrangement and is in the same key as that the singer is
used to. You would need to send us a copy of the music for
us to assess whether it will work as is, need some arranging
(which may require an extra fee), or simply not work at all
because the style is inappropriate for the ensemble.
It
is also recommended, and sometimes required, to set up a
rehearsal for the singer and musicians on the day of the
event; however, the musicians will be paid for rehearsal
time.
Q: Will you provide sound for the minister?
A: No.
Q: Can you provide reprints, additional
albums, or additional photoCDs upon request?
A: We can provide reprints and additional
albums, but we always provide every bride with a
complimentary photoCD containing all images. The photos on
the CD are the property of the client and may be reprinted
at any time.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Deposits are non-refundable.
Q: What happens if there is a hurricane?
A: Mandatory evacuation results in a refund.
Q: Do you own back-up equipment?
A: Yes!
